A boy's gotta do..what a boy's gotta do!
Photography has been a passion for me since 1969 when my dad bought my mother a nice camera. I was fascinated with the occasional "good" photos and the difficulty in seeing her get that one good shot. Bitten by the "Photo Bug" I saved enough money to buy my first 35mm camera in 1974. Ever since then, I have been mesmerized at the prospect of what might emerge after the film was developed. For 22 years, I made a sideline living as a sports and action photographer. I was always interested in wildlife photography and dabbled in it a bit on the side. But my business demanded so much of my time that I never really had the opportunity to test these "wild waters". As Karen and I pursue new careers as full time missionaries in Africa, there is an occasional opportunity to capture some of God's greatest wildlife on camera. I have published some of my favorites in the Photo Gallery.
